Sowing the Seeds of Love :)

Today I planted much of our garden. I planted lettuce a while back and it is so beautiful poking up out of the ground--maroon and green against the dark brown backdrop. But today, bending over the furrowed rows, delicately placing the seeds the appropriate spacing apart, I was thinking "I love this!" It's so amazing to me that I can put something so small into a hole, cover it up with a little dirt and a few short months later, I (hopefully) will be picking nature's bounty off of the plants!!
Corn, bush beans, three varieties of tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet hungarian banana peppers, cucumbers, carrots and more...I'm so excited, I don't think I can wait for the reaping of my seeds of love...:)
