We went to my parent's house in central Missouri for a week-long vacation a couple of weeks ago. They moved there last year after retiring and they have a nice, peaceful property to relax on. The kids love all the gadgets nana and papa own and the fun things there is to do outside. One of the favorite things to do is to feed the fish. Nana has about eight catfish that come up to the shore when you feed them and it's very entertaining to see their cat-like whiskers skimming the surface of the water.
The kids loved riding around on all the different modes of transportation: the four-wheeler, the golf cart, the paddleboat, etc.
Another job they enjoyed was filling up the bird feeders every day and replacing the corn cobs for the squirrels.
They also got to play with their cousin Marty.
We all had a good, relaxing time and we're already looking forward to next summer!
